The Chubbuck Boot Camp (CBC) in January 2026 is a 15-day event in Los Angeles, California, where the participants discover new and powerful potential in their craft. The central elements consist of teaching blocks of scenework with Ivana Chubbuck, auditing of her bi-weekly aster class, as well as those of her teachers and rehearsal and practice of the technique at the studio. .

Working the technique
Each actor will work and rework two scenes with Ivana, during a total of four sessions spread over the course of the weeks. In between these sessions the participants are expected to rehearse and learn the technique by attending Ivanas own weekly masterclasses as well as the classes of the teachers at the studio
SOCIAL LEARNING
As we all know, social interaction is key to any actor, and you will experience this to the max at the CBC. From classes and auditing to dinner at Frankies, the conversations and mutual experience bonds us and prepares us for the challenges of the profession.
PREPARATION
Each participant is expected to have exercised the technique for at least 6 months, or be at a professional level that will allow for a succesful adaptive learning experience. Each participant is expected to have read The Power of The Actor in full before arriving in LA.

Tuition will be paid to the Ivana Chubbuck Studio direct and subject to their policies.

practicalities
Participants must take care of their own travel and accommodation to be able to participate in all workshop dates and activities, as well as they must take care of their own dietary needs. The tuition fee does not cover any of these expenses.
