Chubbuck Technique by certified teachers: Rania Gaaloul and Andreas Lyon
The Chubbuck Technique enables the actor to make strong choices by discovering your own potential, so that you can learn how to win every scene. The empowering technique, developed by Ivana Chubbuck, is one of the leading systems for the modern actor, and her book The Power of The Actor has been translated into more than ten different languages.

In the CHUBBUCK EXCHANGE you will put this theory into practice with two certified coaches, who are dedicated to give you the best this technique has to offer. Not only will you be discovering new territory with great dramatic/comedic scenes, but you will also be part of an international exchange by having a scene partner from another country
PREPARATION
The work we do is demanding, like the industry we are working in. Each actor is expected to commit fully to all classes, and should spend 6-8 hours a week on preparation and rehearsal with their scene partners. It is a minimum requirement for participation that you have read and comprehended the first four chapters of the book. Please understand that this is absolutely fundamental for the success of the workshop to do the work, or else you will not grow or develop these skills. In exchange you will reap the benefits of a wonderful technique, as many before you, and as a participant you will work each time and receive individual feedback, to ensure your progression and development.

Rania started acting in 2006 when she passed the audition to train at theatre Sering in collaboration with Flemish public broadcaster(VRT). Since then she has played for various theaters such as Arenbergschouwburg, Het Paleis, NTG and also with the Spanish company Teatro de los Sentidos. Respectively with directors Michael de Cock, Guy Casiers and Enrique Vargas. Currently she is rehearsing with compagnie Courage with director Alain Pringels.
Meanwhile Rania combines her work on stage with guest roles for Belgian TV. She played guest roles in TV series Code 37 directed by Jan Matthys, Bergica with international directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fillah and she was part of the maincast of “Loslopend wild” and “Hacked”which aires in 2022.
